    Recommendation To Parents

Your parents are primary educators, real mentors of your child. The school is a facilitator to provide education and plays a secondary role in the overall development of a child.

    1. Hence, we would request your involvement in your child’s day to day activities, make them interested and help them in their homework / studies at home.

    2. Your contribution and co-operation in tandem with ours would help in effective imparting of education at the school and thus making it a fun place for the children.

    3. Please read the remarks of the teacher written in the calendar. If the child gets three remarks in the same subject parents will be summoned.

    4. Most important of all, encourage your children to confide in you, gain their confidence, make them feel free to talk things over with you.

    5. Your co-operation will be highly appreciated if you leave and pick your child at the entrance gate.

    6. Never criticise the teacher in the presence of your child. On the contrary make your child have respect for the teachers. This will help your child to look up to the teachers and learn from him/her. Unhealthy criticism at home will undo what we are trying to build up in the school and thus hinder your child’s development.

    7. If there is any dissatisfaction regarding any teacher you are requested to discuss the matter with the principal.

    8. In order to gain proficiency in English in school, as well as at home, child should be encouraged to speak English and speak it correctly. English should be spoken during school hours except when another language is being taught in the school.

    9. Encourage your child to take part in sports, outdoor games and other co-curricular activities as this will go a long way in maintaining your child’s physical and mental well being.

    10. No smart watches.

    Principles Of Discipline

    1.
Regularity and implicit obedience are expected in the school.

    2. Politeness and courtesy of speech and conduct as well as cleanliness of dress and person are inculcated.

    3. Pupils are made to realize that they are responsible to the School authorities not only for their conduct in the School but also for the general behaviour outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of the School on the part of the pupils should make them liable to disciplinary action.

    4. Parents are given to understand that they cannot dictate to the management and that the management has a right to say on what conditions they will admit or retain pupils in their Schools provided such conditions are in conformity with the grant-in-aid code and the instructions issued by the Directors and the Education inspectors.

    5. Pupils shall not take part in any political activities.

    6. Any pupil who is persistently insubordinate or is repeatedly or wilfully mischievous or is guilty of unauthorised practice in connection with examinations or of unauthorised alterations in leaving certificates or who in the opinion of the Principal has an unwholesome influence or his fellow pupils may be removed from the roll. The removal may be temporary or permanent according to the gravity of the offence.
